It’s an exciting time for W&P as we’re now part of Definition Group, which includes multi-award-winning agencies Definition, Redhouse, Topline Film, Schwa and Brand Vista. W&P is based in Leeds, but the group also has offices in London and Manchester.
An exciting new opportunity has arisen for full-time Studio Planner/Manager. You’ll act as the glue that holds our client management and creative teams together. It’ll be your job to make sure that our creative workloads are forward planned, run smoothly, efficiently, and effectively.
Day to day you’ll plan and manage all studio/freelance activity by leading daily and monthly planning sessions, working with key team members to ensure schedules are correctly set up, processes are being followed, deadlines are being met and everyone is kept up to date.
You’ll need to be able to make quick decisions, have a structured approach to remembering lots of information, and be able to see things holistically to be able to juggle multiple priorities and changing deadlines. You will be responsible for capacity planning and ensure creative team hours are logged to provide regular reports on status, resource or skills gaps, along with project efficiency.
You’ll need to proactively lead and drive all aspects of planning and get under the skin of how we work to find new and better ways of doing things, and to take the lead when it comes to championing quality standards and putting changes into action. As part of our continued growth and expansion of services, you’ll help look to develop and monitor third-party suppliers to ensure our partnerships are as expected and look to expand these networks as appropriate.
You’ll need to have a passion for communication and be extremely well organised, resourceful, and not be afraid to push back or challenge where appropriate. You’ll also thrive working in a close-knit team, be detail and process orientated and love the challenge of making sure creative projects are delivered on time, every time, and to budget as agreed with clients.
